Ask me about Iowa Empty
PostSubject: Ask me about Iowa   Ask me about Iowa EmptyTue Oct 01, 2019 10:04 pm

Hi gang, just thought I'd stop in to the barber shop and see what you old men are talking about. I've been listening to the Michigan Podcast with Steve Dace. He also hosts the BiggerTen and is a a regular on the Hawkeye Nation podcast.

I heard about Jimmy's 20 minute interview, speed and space and how folx are not seeing what they expected from the Maise and Blue. It started with opening day, then Army, then the nightmare in Madison and finally UM did what it was supposed to do with Rutgers. So now we're all waiting to see what is sea level right?

The world will little note nor long remember if Michigan beats Iowa 24-17 or even 30-17. If Michgan wins by 21 the cynics will say..we'll Iowa suck anyway so.... amiright?

You know, we wait all year long - the longest off season in sports - for college football to come and we find ourselves frustrated. I'm getting too damned old for this. I think I'll just sit down and watch.

Go Hawks.

Iowa 23 - Michigan 18

Someone said on Mgoblog that Shea hurt his oblique in his first possession of his first game and posited that is why our RPOs almost never result in him running and that defenses quickly figured that out. FWIW. I feel like we are (should be) the underdog on Saturday.

Well Shoes that bodes well for the hawks. Iowa's DLine is a work in progress. Epenesa gets a lot of attention and so now they are moving him around. The other D-End is a fine ball player but gets very little press.

UM's best chance IMO is to throw the ball medium to deep against Iowa's depleted secondary.

I have no idea how this will turn out. If we turn the ball over we lose. If not, we win.

Holding on to the ball should be a basic task. We finally did last week and Rutgers or not we scored a lot of points.

Hold on to the ball.
