DL Preview

Really this is the only position group that has me worried.

Roh has been average to slightly above average then back to average.

Black moving inside is interesting. Hopefully he is bigger.

WC, this needs to be his year. No kidding, right.

Clark showed some potentional during the Sugar Bowl. Looked pretty athletic for his position.

Brink, should provide some depth.

Pipkins. He is the wild card. Will he be able to jump right in?

I'm slightly worried. Slightly.

I expect Big Will to finally play up to his potential. Failing that, count on Mattison to identify the weaknesses and compensate with LB support.

It's going to be interesting, no doubt!

I fully expect PeeWee to start in the middle Week 1.

I think Week 1 is a stretch, 4-5 games in is more likely if he's as good as advertised.

Nope. I agree with Admin. Week 1. Dude is all around solid. I can't wait to watch him play.

Well, and outside of the fact that I think he's going to be a very special player in AA, who's his competition? Big Will and Quentin Washington?

If I were PeeWee I'd love my chances.

I just don't see a high school kid coming in and beating out Big Will. Knowing the system and four years of S&C are huge factors. It's not impossible, but highly improbable IMO.

If he does, I'll shout HUZZAH!

Well, even if he doesn't beat out BWC, there's still another spot for grabs in the middle (assuming we stay a 4-3).

True, but in the 4-3 under the DTs play different roles, one is a plugger and one is a rusher. From what I understand Pee-Wee is also a plugger, though I could be wrong.
