According to university it is for the season as well .

I highly dislike them also but this is a small way that the team can express the pride in their individuality. Harbaugh is simply trying something to keep the guys inline. I don't think it will be around past this year, not by plan rather by backlash. Personally I am not in favor of them but I can see the rationale, not that I agree with it.

Michigan has the most iconic helmet in all of college football. That is an indisputable fact. Article after article and survey after survey have proven that over the years. I don't think I've ever seen a single piece written about iconic CFB helmets that didn't have Michigan as #1 best helmet. Being a traditionalist I don't like it. At times I like to be challenged to think out of the box and try to be objective so I for one welcome the opportunity to hate the stickers after the first drive of the first game.

Eggo, you are right. We are always #1.
The fact that we have decals will be of no consequence. When anyone outside of Michigan looks at them they will see a hallowed helmet. We see stickers.
Stickers or not we have the #1 helmet of all time. IMO that will NEVER end.
