a near elite 8 appearance is nothing to look down upon. especially for young kids these days. Look at how memphis turned out this year. And let me add that I still believe that Michigan should've won that game against Villanova and could've easily made it to the final four. They had that much talent.

I still think that Devante Jones held us back but he personified Michigan Man so I can't be too upset.

He came in, worked hard, became a leader, didn't embarrass off the court and was clutch at certain points so even though I think he held the team back he also deserves a lot of credit.

I'd really like to see a veteran UM team take the court. I was hoping that CH and MD would return. I would've penciled them in as a sure fire final four team but we move on without them. I think UM can still win the B1G. it's going to be a down year for the conference. I think it's going to be a good year for juwan and the boys.

and by the way.... 4 of the top 5 draft picks didn't get Mel a natty either. It's just the way that the cookie crumbles but it doesn't mean that it was total failure. The Michigan brand is strong. Just look at the NHL playoffs and how many Michigan players are still alive (and contributing).

Not a failure for sure.We don't have a say but I would rather we recruited lesser ranked players to fill needs and sprinkle in maybe one 5 star.I just don't care for the Kentucky model.

True. There’s little value in a bunch of superstars spending a year learning to play together and then leaving.
