CBS and Scout have us penned into the Rose Bowl

Jerry Palm of CBS. Don't know who wrote the Scout piece, but he predicts we lose to Bama, then roll through the rest of the sched until Ohio. Lose to Ohio, play Wiscy in 'ship, beat them, face USC in Pasadena.

Predictions are like a$$-holes, everyone has one. It means nothing until after the games are played, but they look decent.

If we get to the Rose Bowl . Hoke will be the nexy Gov of this State. I see a good season maybe 9-3, but thge schedule has alot of Bumps in the road, I still think next year will be the break out season.

I don't feel the same about next year as we will be breaking in a new 'starting' qb. I think DG can handle it, but there will certainly be some 'bumps in the road' there, too.

We've got to survive this Bama game, win or lose, and roll through our schedule (not an easy task, but doable). We've got to find a way to go into South Bend, Lincoln and Cbus and collect W's. Of we can do that, we're looking at the Rose, at worst. If we're not blown out by Bama, could have a legit shot at an NC appearance as a 1-loss team. Not putting much stock in that, but we have the players and coaches to beat every team on our schedule.

We've just got to avoid the habitual letdown or 2
