Yes, I would much rather play USC than Oregon.

Definitely a much more favorable matchup.

I'm on the fence, sc is more power football and I don't think that we match-up very well with them. Oregon has speed which we also do not match up well with (save Denard). It's a pick your poison. Regardless (or "Irregardless" in honor of that hick from West Virginia) either of them is better than getting 'bama again.

Say the world implodes tomorrow and the only two football teams left are Michigan and 'bama, I'm fairly certain that there would no longer be a National Championship game, but would you like to see that game again? I'm fairly certain that it'd be a better game, but we'd still lose.
