| Just curious if anyone in here would have any interest in that?
I must admit, although I'm 'Admin', I'm not sure if I would have the resources to necessarily "host" it. No RV, no sound system, no tent (or whatever those things are called) and no big grill.
So, after typing all that, I CLEARLY DO NOT have the resources lol. (hey, give me a break, I'm 25...it takes years to build up owning all that stuff! It's like a garage full of tools...doesn't happen overnight!)
Anyway, would people in here have an interest? I'm just going to start off with a simply yay or nay, and if there is support, we can get into which game/details later.

| for a guy like me that lives out west but does make it back to a few games a year I would have to know which game well in advance before I could say yea or nay.
Also, those games are part of the few times a year that I get to see family (brother-in-laws) so I would have to ask the small favor of allowing me to r.s.v.p. with a +1 otherwise, no offense to anyone, I'd much rather spend my time with them.

You're telling us we aren't family yet, Sandy?? Your brothers and sisters on this forum are sad now. As for the +1, why the heck not? My girlfriend would be there for sure. I assume Joe would bring along his wife, as would most of the other men on here (and vice-versa, of course). _________________ "I don't get sick. I don't observe major holidays. Joe, would that be a possibility we could add to the list, if in fact we decide to do it?? _________________ "I don't get sick. I don't observe major holidays. I'm a jackhammer." - Jim Harbaugh & Dwight Schrute

| I'm certain there will be plans in place.
Eggo, do you know when you're coming?
I already spoke to Canada Ed and he'll not be making it down again this year.
I know '85 usually has a big todo.
We'll get something together. _________________ "What the HELL's going on out here?"

| Maybe if we supply 85 with enough brews and brats before the game he'll sneak us into his fancy schmancy suite?

| If I get back this year, I may try to find y'all. Too bad Maizie can't come. She looks good in maize and blue, plus she loves hotdogs (or would if I let her have them, but she's on a strict vet-supplied diet of highly digestible, and unfortunately expensive, food). | |

| Does she eat C/D?
I have one dog on C/D for crystals and onother on J/D for arthritis.
The C/D is the schnausser (sp) so it's only a cup a day. The J/D is for the Lab. I've CUT HER BACK to 3 cups a day. Really, for a 55lb dog 3 cups is pretty small.
Anyway, I digress.
You'll have to put a picture of Maizie as your avatar. Have you figured that out yet? _________________ "What the HELL's going on out here?"

| Hi, Maizie eats I/D, canned for meals, and dry for treats. She loves it, and since she's been on this diet she hasn't had the diarrhea she got every three weeks two summers ago, when she'd get the trots if she picked up anything outdoors--her system just never settled down, until she got put on this diet. Also, no more off the leash running in the park. I watch her like a hawk to make sure she doesn't grab up and swallow nasty crap.
She was recently diagnosed with Cushings, which is overproduction of cortisol by the adrenal glands. So she's on meds for that, which she has to take for the rest of her life, and for which she has to be monitored with blood and other tests on a regular basis. She's one expensive pooch (man, are vets expensive), but hey, she's family.

| Suppose I should add a message, since I'm the lone NAY vote thus far.
Have only been to the original (I think) tailgate (2002), when I got to meet several current and several since-departed members (most notably Alexandre and Wolverine-in-Columbus in the latter category, Canada Ed in the former). AND, was deprived, by an alleged automotive breakdown, of the chance to meet WH-aka-AndyGoBlue.
But since relocating to Annapolis, it would be too long a drive for me, and I need to save my vacation for a trans-Atlantic visit (Sis now lives in Geneva, puzzle buddy of the "Really Stupid Pix" infamy in England) in October.
Maybe some other year...

| That's usually how it goes, 'roses.
While I would hate to have to shell out a bunch of extra cash on a monthly basis to keep my dogs happy/healthy, it something I wouldn't even question not doing.
Like you said, they're family. My dogs, Hope (a walker hound we got from the animal shelter when she was 1 because she was abused...so we named her Hope, we thought it fit), and Penny (a mix of toy poodle and lhasa apso...who we named after Penny Lane because we are nutjob Beatles fans), mean everything to me. _________________ "I don't get sick. | Ugh. Yeah, Demi gets checked for crystals.
We're thinking Ricky, who was my mother-in-law's dog, may be going down hill just a tad. No idea how old he is because he was rescued from a dumpster.
The other 2 are only 5 and 6. And the 5 year old should live long. (and tell us all about it!) _________________ "What the HELL's going on out here?"

| I just talked to my brother-in-law and discussed which games I'll be going to this year. I told him I'd like to wait to tell him until I confirm what game the forum tailgate will be. Did we settle on Michigan State or any other game?
I'm only one guy and will go along with whatever the majority votes but my vote would be the Michigan State game. The problem is the start time is still TBA so if you want to wait until the start times are announced I understand and will just try my best to get to whatever game is picked. _________________ Sometimes people standing on third base think they hit a triple, but they didn't - Jim Harbaugh

Romeo, 85's real name isn't Matt. Although I've never met him in person he was nice enough to help me get tickets to the Cowboy Classic last year and that's how I know his real name. I hear that 85 does have a nice tailgate though as well. _________________ Sometimes people standing on third base think they hit a triple, but they didn't - Jim Harbaugh

| The fellow I know owns a window and door company and does pretty lavish stuff and has 4 tickets to every game. My brother got married on the UM/ND gameday and Matt only made the reception as a result. He has his priorities straight . | |

| Are we going to do this finally this year? Looking at the schedule for this coming season I actually think that the Akron game (9/14) would be the best option. Should still be nice weather, greater ticket availability, less-exspensive tickets, and there really isn't an other option (well Indiana on 10/19 but that's it).
I "should" be in town this year, last year it didn't happen but we diuscussed it being the same time when I was about an hour and a half north of 'eggo. _________________ 'eggo denoted me a First ballot Hall of Famer! - sandyeggo_blue wrote:
