| Not sure if this has been discussed yet

Don't follow it too often but I'm wondering when the last time a kicker was the B1G Player of the Week. I can't imagine it happens too often. _________________ Sometimes people standing on third base think they hit a triple, but they didn't - Jim Harbaugh

Whoops finally read the entire article. he was Special teams player of the week. I need to get some brain food in me and lay off the crack pipe while I'm at it. | Wait now I'm really confused
"Not only did Michigan State football allow Michigan to earn its 900th win, snap a four-game losing streak and keep Brady Hoke’s perfect home record alive last weekend, but the Spartans also allowed a Michigan player to be named Big Ten player of the week.
According to the Detroit News, Michigan kicker Brendan Gibbons was named Big Ten special teams player of the week. Gibbons was three for three on field goal attempts, including the game winner he nailed from 38 yards out with five seconds left in the game."
Someone help me! _________________ Sometimes people standing on third base think they hit a triple, but they didn't - Jim Harbaugh

Allowed Michigan to perpetrate all those heinous crimes against inhumanity... Right. Just like: (1) The Wehrmacht [ever so graciously] allowed the Allies to defeat them and liberate the death camps, terminating the Holocaust; (2) The planet Earth allows Sol to cast its radiant energy our way; (3) trillions of cubic light-years of totally-empty space allowed the Big Bang to occur in their midst; (4) (take your shot here). | |

| They would be baskets of roses or garlands of manna, not bombs, if some semblance of intelligence existed, on the parts of the recipients, on the ground below his flight path...eh?
Argh, argh...

pretty clever haha thanks. Sometimes I have to think of something pretty good in order to respond to 'mike. His posts are usually so friggin' thorough and solid that a BS response wouldn't do him/his posts justice. _________________ "I don't get sick. I don't observe major holidays. Thorough and solid...
Cripes sakes---will you stop already???
And by the way, Admin, I don't think you knew me some years ago (3 or 4) on the "other" forum, when I introduced others, notably StJoe and Fish, to the comedy that is the creation of my U.K. buddy...on this, his website:

And will be reminded of many a Sparty. this picture http://www.ukpuzzle.com/rsp/009.jpg from the ukpuzzle.com website is of the 24hr fitness in the Sports Arena area of San Diego. The address is 3675 Midway Drive San Diego, CA 92110. Google Map it and make sure you're on satellite view and zoom all the way in and you'll see it in the back of the shopping center in the southwest corner. I've seen that before many times and thought it was pretty funny myself. _________________ Sometimes people standing on third base think they hit a triple, but they didn't - Jim Harbaugh

| Haha...yes, I've seen that one. It may have been the inspiration for a piece in the Washington Post a couple of years ago, addressing my (definitely not your nor Admin's nor WH's!) generation: "Are we a generation of "Hippie-crites"??? It harped on how we:
(1) "Go to the gym to work into shape"...then take the escalator to the 2nd floor.
(2) Say "Make that a diet Coke"...to go with our super-sized fries and two Big Macs.
(3) Buy flourescent light bulbs "To Save on energy"...then stay up, with them burning, 3 hours later each night than our parents ever did.
