I still don't think they'll be that bad (although a new QB next year won't help). They'll be better than sparty (but that doesn't say much)...

With their defense, Sparty will be better next year than they are this year. Then the tumble really starts for them.

I said that sparty would be 6-6, 7-5 at best this year. sparty will be 7-5, 8-4 at best next year. As Jeff Foxworthy says, "Ya can't fix stupid."

I expected them to have an awful season. Like, win their non-conference games and perhaps one or two against the bottom B1G teams.

Very surprised at how their season went. They could have finished with a better record too.

If he stays, good for him.

If he doesn't, I honestly wouldn't blame him for a second or think any less of him (although, I must say, I don't have much of an opinion on him as a coach one way or the other...).

I like O'Brien, what little I know about him. He'll be at Penn State for at least 9 more years if he survives seasons 3 -5 (those will be the tough ones).
