| UMs defense gives up less than 300 yards, 281. UMs defense gives up 13 points.
Shit, they suck. WTF?
Gardner throws for 235 and a TD with ZERO INTs and runs for 17 and a TD.
What's the fucking problem?

| They want perfection and I think many people are mistakenly putting Minny on equal footing with Akron and UConn. Minny isn't a great team but head & shoulders above both Akron & UConn. | |

What's the fucking problem? The fucking problem (as I see it) is, Fish, we have posters even here (vs. the MLive forum)---ahem, er, duh, no names please---who are satisfied only by perfection (or, acknowledging that to be humanly unattainable, a team which wins weekly by 49 points and outgains the opposition by 525 yards), who use this board as a radio-call-in-show "Gripe line", and who consider a 20-ounce glass containing 19 ounces of wine as being 5% empty. And it's getting old...

| It was a good win. Conservative game plan to get maximum production. I thought this was Borges' best game calling plays since ND. I thought the defense was embarrassed by that one long drive and they manned up and kept everything in front of them after that.
Countess is one of the best corners in the country. Funchess is going to cause trouble for everyone they face.
PSU isn't good folks. I expect a similar game plan this week.

| Our secondary must stop Robinson he is one of the best receivers in the BIG.....,,also some pressure on the QB. I agree they aren't very good but we need to show up to play on both sides of the ball and it is on the road in a very loud stadium. | |

| Almost the nightly pre-bed staple for my late mother-in-law, Shoes. OK, replace the "20" with "12"... but also replace "wine" with "brandy".
Yep, a 12-ounce glass of 85-proof ginger brandy. Fortunately, she never had a driver's license.

| The main thing I'm happy about in regards to the Minnesota game is no turnovers. But Funchess having the day he had was pretty sweet. That last pass to him which set up the Gardner roll out score was BEAUTIFUL.
I was really, really happy after the Minnesota game. But then OSU and Notre Dame won, so I was pissed.

| At the game, I was pretty upset at halftime, to be honest. Then I took a step back and realized how that first half went down. Minnesota did a helluva job of shortening the game. We had, what, four possessions in the first half? The only real 'gripe' I would have from yesterday would be our secondary's struggle to play the ball in the air. I realize many of those passes that were complete over the top were man coverage (Jarrod Wilson by himself on the outside I remember specifically), and you're taught not to get caught looking back at the quarterback. I guess my fantasy is to have a secondary that is good enough to play the man (and not get caught cheating) until the ball is in the air, then have the talent to read the WR's reaction to the ball nearing...then turn around and snatch the rock... ...like Woodson. | |

| Either way, it was a good win for our team, no matter how you slice it up. The biggest positive being DG with no turnovers. | |
