It will hopefully give the team an emotional boost and an onfield performance boost to get Captain Jake back out there.

I am going to temper my expectations. He is coming off a significant injury. Although the way Countess and Fitz have bounced back for their injuries it makes me hopeful. Still, I see other forums talking about how Jake will improve the defense dramatically. I would like to see him just stay healthy. I assume he will see limited time in the first game or two no?

is it just me or does jabrill black have a tiny head.

back on topic, if you would have asked me 7 months ago if Jake would be ready to play by Penn St I would have said 0% chance.

The doctors cleared him but something in the back of my mind says he's not ready (at least he shouldn't be). I'm questioning the doctors professional opinion from half way across the country with zero knowledge of the extent of the injury, the rehab progress or how the knee looks under xray right now. Oh by the way, did I mention I never went to med school.

He did, but that was two years ago (not last night).
