| ...since the one started by Admin seems to have elicited responses dealing with everything but the friggin' spread.
I'm still taken aback as to why so narrow. Sure, we won our only road game, and against an opponent presumably inferior to PSU (by a comfortable margin) by only three points, 24-21 at UConn, but we showed definite improvement Saturday, while they (esp. their defense) looked no better than mediocrity...at best.
So, what's your take? "White-out" city? Nothing-to-lose Lions?

| Also keep in mind the O/U is 51....so I'm taking Michigan to cover in the under. | |

| The road is tough- there will be an emotional crowd agin us unless we can take them out of it. Minnesota is a bad team and we're over-reacting to beating them handily- that's my take.

| I agree with shoes, I'll be feeling happy and lucky for Michigan to get out of there with our unbeaten record intact. I know we're getting better and PSU has looked weak lately, but I'm a little wary of Penn State, at home in Happy Valley. | |

You said Michigan 30-23. That's 53 points (I think) so it would be Michigan and the over if your prediction comes to fruition.

| I'm not shocked at all. Home teams is usually good for 3 points, UM has struggled on the road some. 3 seems about right. | |

| Indiana is not good. Indiana just embarrassed Penn St. This line has no business being at 3. Michigan is 5-0 with a win vs a good Notre Dame team and is coming off a 20+ win vs Minnesota. Penn St. gets embarrassed by a team that will be lucky to finish top 7 in the conference. Michigan by 14+. | |

i agree. i also think vegas doesn't know how the heck to open a Michigan spread now because of the bi-polar season we've had. -3 seems right, but i think we'll be fine vs PSU.

| I'm expecting a very solid victory, statistically and on the scoreboard. I expect us to use the unbalanced line a lot, given how small (relatively speaking,245 lbs) PSU's two DEs are, and to see us rush for 40+ more than we pass for, though with Devin's arm and escape-ability, Funchess' height and hands, Gallon's experience and Chesson's speed, we'll also get our share of BIG plays. On the ground probably, too, given our OL improvement with GG at center, and PSU's banged-up LB corps (which wasn't anywhere near worthy of that "Linebacker U" tradition to begin with).
Hackenberg's after all a teenager, still prone to nerves, with self-induced pressure to please the raucous home crowd, and Matty knows it. Look for plenty of blitzes, though certainly not on every play.
M 31, PSU 14. | |

| With everything that's being said
I'll take PSU +3.
Michigan will win though.
