Replacing Nussmeier at Bama

Lane Kiffin apparently is mentioned as a candidate to replace UM's new OC at Alabama. This guy comes with more baggage than a fully loaded 747. He has a history of some shady dealings wherever he has been. Oh well, he has prior experience in the SEC so he would fit in well. One pleasant fact, however, is that he is only one of many potential candidates.

The best part about this is that ESPN, the SEC and even Bama fans are putting the biggest spin on this as to why it's the perfect hire. In fact I read an article today on SEC-loving ESPN that does nothing but talk down Nussmeier and hype up the possibility of Kiffin to Bama.

It just shows you how corrupt the SEC and Alabama is to welcome this clown with open arms.

Maybe that is another reason why Nussy wanted to leave.

Another reason why I hate ESPN and have not watched it in a very long time.

Indeed, stjotoo. Wasn't that a major factor we all commented on when he was hired years back at USC, on the heels of the corrupt Pete Carroll's departure? Another "perfect fit" scenario?
