Joe you got to admit we were lucky Hammonds foulded out. the offensive rebounds from the 5 minute mark in the 2nd half to the end of the game killed us and finally Purdue missed a FT, and still it took a miracle to beat them

well I'm not one of the older guys here on the board but that used to be me. I think it all changed for me after I had kids but before I learned my current level of patient (thanks to my kids) that was totally me. Life if better now for me

Yeah, you did mention a missed FT but you failed to mention that if they had shot anywhere even close to their normal percentage we would have won the game by the 6 points I predicted.

So, it was a pretty big stat to just "mention" in passing.

Make no mistake about it. THIS WAS PURDUE'S championship game. This was their last chance to beat a team of this caliber. We had a bullseye the size of your dissatisfaction on our backs.

I agree. Like I said, the chances of us going 4-0 were 30%. It was more likely we go 3-1, so I was not going to get upset about a loss. Finishing 14-4 in the Big Ten after losing a preseason All American would / will be outstanding. I think it is ridiculous people throw fits after every loss.
