| As fragile as he seems to be, I do not see how he could be a ****. Running back stats in high school fail to impress. I had to put up with four years of Kevin Grady stories earlier this century... | |

Can't really say that I disagree but I'm not giving up on him unless Coach Harbaugh does. I'm looking forward to Enis in this class though. Hopefully he can be just as effective in college.

Word on other forums is that OSU is waiting on other top WRs and that he has been put on hold. Looks like he is sick of waiting in holding pattern, so the odds should favor UM. Over on the MGoBlog forum you can see his poster, announcing his Thursday decision. UM is on top and he is walking towards the block M, while wiping his feet on the OSU logo below. Maybe reading too much into it, but a tad optimistic at this point.

JH typically doesn't follow a recruit unless he is targeting him. can JH flip Nordin from PSU? it's something I'll keep an eye on.

| If following is seen as communication, how could the NCAA handle situations where hs players are following JH? It would be impossible. Besides, if following was a violation, surely JH would be well-aware of this and would not do it. | |

I agree with that, if it was already a known violation Coach Harbaugh would know that. I'm just saying that it should be a possible violation.

| if you think that following a recruit on twitter is communication then I suppose a university asking a coach/parent/school for a players tape, transcripts, etc would be considered the same because I'm pretty sure that in those cases the player would know about that also.
now maybe there is a rule that says that coaches can't attempt to follow a player on twitter when there is a dead period but after that it should be okay. but if that is the case, then are all coaches/staffs supposed to unfollow during that period?
I just can't see a scenario where following is considered communication but I don't know the details of the rules.
back to recruiting.... donnie corley set his official visit to sparty for the oregon game. sparty is going to have a lot of good recruit targets at that game.
and one pretty big note, corley and hill are now saying they would like to play college ball together. they have always insisted they are not a package deal but now it's looking more and more like they will be.

Oh, and Twitter isn't evil, it's an inanimate object. It can't be evil. Unless you believe movies like Chuckie. Never said that it was already against the rules, just that I can see the NCAA saying it is in the future. Following a recruit on Twitter is just like sending a recruit a post-card saying "Hi". IT IS COMMUNICATION! 'eggo, question, do you think Mitchell's committment influences Corley?

| from a standpoint of corley wanting or not wanting to play with mitchell, the answer would be no. but there is definitely a numbers crunch that is going to have to happen to get corley.
the staff is still pursuing (among others) 3 LBs, 1 WR, 1 CB, perhaps 1 K, 2 OLs and a DT. with 23 already on board (and rumors that they are still trying to flip Khalid Kareem) you would think corley may not have a spot but IMO if corley wants to commit they will make room for him.

1) Gary is still on my board. No new news. It's currently a battle with Auburn and Georgia at this point.
2) Nothing new on Carlo Kemp. I'm going to keep him on the list also.
3) Sadly I'm taking Upshur off the board. I think he's going to be FSU bound. We will find out tomorrow.
4) I am taking Dele Harding off the board based on $ info I've read. Will share when I find it on a free link.
5) Still have Jones on my board but UM is making a real push for Bush and Kelly. They will take either of them over Jones but I think Jones ends up being the guy. Bush will end up at FSU and Kelly at OU or ND.
6) Ahmir Mitchell is the latest commit. Ahmir is my new #1 favorite in the class ahead of Vicious Vic Viramontes.
7) Staying with the WRs, UM is still in solid position with 4* King WR Donnie Corley. I've put him on my board but he barely made the list. I think he and Lavert Hill may be a package deal. At least they sure are talking that way.
8 ) UM still leads for Pie Young and is actively recruiting Dylan Crawford (and may still be the leader). I have read that UM would take both and Corley if they decided to commit. Yep you just read that right... 5 total WRs.
9) Like I just mentioned above, keep your eye on Lavert Hill. He still seems to be a lock to flip from PSU to MSU or UM.
10) I still don't know if Joncarlo Valentin or Terrance Davis will be the last OL spot. Looking at 247's prediction list you'd think it's going to be Davis but I can't tell at this point. UM is still recruiting Jean Delance hard. He's a huge longshot but if he wants to commit, the staff will take him.
11) Like I stated in an earlier post, it looks like UM may try to flip Quinn Nordin fro PSU.
12) One last thing to leave you with... Robert Washington might be back in the mix. He has cut ties with his family and his girl friend's parents are helping him out. He appears to be back in the mix. http://www.syracuse.com/orangefootball/index.ssf/2015/08/robert_washington_decommitment_syracuse_football.html

| maize and brew's latest list. It came out last week while I was on my annual backpacking trip.
http://www.maizenbrew.com/michigan-football-recruiting/2015/8/26/9210281/michigan-football-2016-recruiting-class-prediction-ahmir-mitchell-naseir-upshur-rashan-gary
Speaking of linebackers, Dele Harding, while committed still, is not included here again. We have heard next to nothing on his recruitment while Michigan still recruits linebackers hard, so expect a parting of the ways at some point.

Swenson is really climbing the boards. I couldn't tell from the article if any of his pancakes were on Josh King but from the three articles I've read on the game, Swenson dominated.
