And frankly, Shoes, Fish and Sandy, here's hoping those nine (if not more) wins come our way, securing coach Hoke's continued employment.
The gist of that article (at least the sensible portion) was that the coaching transitions were as responsible for the program's "youth parade" as anything. (I agree with their rationale---and add that it not only was a changeover of actual coaches themselves, but of methodologies: I refer to RR's crazy notions that tiny linemen and fast backfields will cut it against the top-tier B-10 opponents). Because after all, as the article points out, lots of players left, or reneged on their commitments to come to U-M, once their recruiters (RR and staff) were shown the door.
So my point is, one thing we don't need right now is another coaching upheaval...to set the program back yet another 4-5 seasons.
