| "jimmy hat" is a term used for condom.
so basically he told Marcus Ray to take off his condom.
it was pretty funny because they caught it right away and you could hear sam try to back track and eventually he just had to give in a laugh it off. It was good radio (podcast for me)

| 2nd, I was listening this morning and that is definitely not the context of the conversation.
Sam had Marcus Ray on the show and was talking as if Marcus were Harbaugh and having Marcus answer questions to the scenarios that would play out. then he said "now take off your jimmy hat" as a segue into putting on your "Les Miles hat"
To me it definitely did not sounds as if Sam was saying Jim isn't coming. But I might be looking at it with bias because I would love nothing more than for Jim to take the job.

| I listened as well... and no Sam never said Jim wasn't coming... he is still of the opinion that he more likely than not is coming... Marcus was just trying to talk as Jim and Les nothing more... what was more interesting to me was Ira saying his sources saying it was 90 %... that I don't believe for a minute... unless Jim says f*ck it I am done with NFL and says yes soon this will drag on until NFL season is done and SF does whatever it is they want to do with Jim | |

| No real updates from he people on State St., they know nothing. They do however seem more apprehensive about the possibility. Nothing was said about Jimmah not coming, only that they "hope he still comes." What that means is up in the air, maybe it means that something happened that may persuade him not to come? I'm hoping that it just means that they are not positive yet...
