this is great news. Mattison has been key in recruiting this year. This will allow UM and coach harbaugh a smooth transition into recruiting the rest of the way out. plus Matty can provide info on 2016 and 2017 recruits that UM had previously had on its board and put work in on.

Agree. We had to pay him any way and he's a top recruiter.

Glad to see Greg retained. Like Shoes said......he is a good recruiter and that is a PLUS. Let the man retire here if that is what he wants, he deserves it. He's good for the program.

I to am glad Mattison is still here, the defense was better last year and he was part of the reason why.

Mattison is a class guy with a good defensive football mind. Very happy that it appears he will return. Perhaps he can be the recruiting coordinator as well as a defensive position coach.
