Good Morning Dudes!

I don't know what the temp is here in Elkhart, but we've got light flurries. Nothing came about last night as expected in regards to snow.

Sat around with my mom and girlfriend and watched a good chunk of Modern Family season 1 last night. If you haven't seen that show, I suggest checking it out. Hilarious, but certainly would qualify as a 'family' show if you need that.

Anyway, my HS kicked ass again last night, setting up the sectional championship between my HS and my mother's HS. Looking forward to going to that tonight.

Outside of that, I don't think there's anything going on today. Am I right? Or am I forgetting something big?

You're just started watching Modern Family??? It is a good show. Looks like you will be busy for a while.

Rumor has it that some idiot poster around here thought the Michigan BB game was today. Very confused that he couldn't find it on the listings.

Only to be told we play tomorrow and not today!!!!! D'Oh!!!

Oh, no, the girlfriend and I are completely up-to-date on it, through the latest episode this past week. I just wantedto get my mom into it because I knew she'd like it. So after an unsuccessful trip to the local video store to rent the first season, I just ran over to Wal-Mart and bought it for her. So we watched the first disc last night - 6 episodes.

The girlfriend and I really get into series. If we're not falling asleep to an old Michigan game, we're pounding out episodes of a series. Modern, Game of Thrones, Band of Brothers, Homeland...those are just some of the series we've watched over the last few months.

(Then I'm an avid follower of Dexter as well. We both really like Parks and Rec too....The Office has just gotten bad since Steve Carrell left. Workaholics is funnier than hell too if you like that kind of comedy.)

I usually just download them by the season, and we watch on the laptop or connect it to the flatscreen.

I just can't watch that much TV.

Mine is usually off during the day and I have music on around here.

I turn it on at 5 for Around the Horn, PTI and SportsCenter.

2-1/2 men is my series but I watch it on TV not a disc. (even though my wife got me a set of one of the years.) My favorite favorite ever is the one with Steven Tyler. And Jake calls himself "Vod KaKnockers"!! I LOVE that one!

But I digress. We listen to music as opposed to watching TV.

With that said, my wife turned on VH1 Classic this morning and they had a 4 hour movie of The Temptations. Man those dudes were good! I have their greatest hits CD. My all time favorite is Ball of Confusion! Heard it as a kid and loved the Bass dude singing. Loved it ever since.

Have I digressed again? LOL

I was just skimming your post after I saw "I just can't watch that much TV" and saw the line about "Around the Horn". Knowing you and your bikini-clad avitars I actually thought iut said "Around the Porn". Fitting huh?

Well, it's not like I had a VAGINA File on my desktop or anything like that.....
