maybe not a pioneer but probably a trend setter. We'll have to see the success of Hoke's recruiting strategy and weigh it against if the other schools switch their recruiting tactics to follow.
It could very well be that after a few years of Hoke wrapping up the talent early, the other schools see this as hurting their recruiting and they change their strategies and try to start getting early commits. That would be trend setting for sure.
Joe you made a good point though, typically the B1G schools have taken the steady approach while teams like Bama, Texas, USC had their kids committed early. Hoke's success on the recruiting trail will lead to success on the field which may cause the other schools to look at how they recruit. I think we very well may see the recruiting strategies of the other schools shift. The Paradigm is shifting.
