| Has suffered a broken collarbone. Dam, I assume that means Peter's is the backup. I sure hope Shea doesn't get hurt. | |

| How is Milton doing? Rumblings are he's pretty good, and he has played already (to my surprise). Was the dive for the td the cause of the break? | |

It's so god-damned exasperating, coming as it did in an absolutely meaningless situation. And your hope above translates to my greatest fear. Because Nov. 24, down in the filth pot "down south", given the superlative level at which Shea's performing, you KNOW they're going to try to TAKE HIM OUT. (At Meyer's behest and their [the players'] own). Perhaps a full quarter-and-a-half worth's work at Rutgers for both Peters and Milton will better position us to cope with the above disaster should it come... | |

| Don’t pussy foot around against Rutgers .... put them away in the first half and put Shea on the bench for the second half ... give Peters and Milton one quarter each with a full playbook of plays | |

| I assume we still want to preserve Milton's redshirt under the new rules (playing in up to 4 games), so it behooves us to get Peters as much work as possible. | |

| Milton needs reps as well though and he can still see action in three more games .... still possible that McCaffrey is back for the CFB if we make it ... didn’t Denis Franklin start throwing again in late December after breaking his collarbone in the Game ? | |

I think he's only played in one game (Wisconsin) . So he still has three left. _________________ Sometimes people standing on third base think they hit a triple, but they didn't - Jim Harbaugh
