What was the point of wasting a redshirt game for a couple of plays?

I'm not so sure he'll stay at quarterback.

Could you see him at Tight End? He's a brute already.

Regardless, he's been in 2 so far right?

I think a number of things went on here...

1. The obvious answer is that Peters is the clear cut backup at this point and IMO the gap between he and Milton is large. No sense in keeping Peters in the game and risking injury to him.
2. The next obvious answer is that JH wants to evaluate Milton to see how he's progressed since the UW game.
3. Having milton in the game allowed UM to keep the play calling very vanilla. It's highly likely that the offense is at the point of the season where they are comfortable with a lot of other plays that they don't want other teams (o$u in particular) to have tape on.
4. No way you're going to put Sessa in for a play and not Milton

I don/t see what the issue is here. He gets 4 games he played in 2 with 2 game to go. Even if he plays in the IU game he more than likely wont see the field in the O$U game.

Well, there are at least three, potentially four, games left. He'd have three rs games left had he not played last week.

To me Peters is still the best option if god forbid you know what happens! .... he is no Shea or even DMac but he is a very good option... let’s remember he was behind an atrocious version of an OL last year ... he showed many good throws last year and with this years OL in front of him he would be light years ahead of JOK...
