| Great season. On reflection we probably over-achieved relative to our talent level. Our offense was always suspect and really good defenses were always a big problem for it. If we had faced Texas Tech's mirror image- outstanding offense, so-so defense, we would have faired much better.
If just one of DDJ, Johns, Castleton takes a big step forward next year we will contend for honors. If two do and/or one of the two incoming freshman is ready in their first season, so much the better.
We need one go to guy like Burke, Stauskas or Walton, nobody filled that role this year. Still 30 wins and 15-5 in the best or second best conference, lots to be proud of.

| Shoes with the glass half full post and I can respect that but 0-18 to start on 3s was pathetic. Artist was right to melt down like he did.
The sad part is that about 1/3 of those misses were from well run plays where the pass opened the shooter but they just flat out missed a wide open shot. Say all you want about TT's D (it was good) but..... Michigan was just plain terrible in that game. You'll have those days. It sucks for Michigan that it was a season ender.
food for thought, I believe UM entered the night shooting 34% from beyond the arc. If they would have hit 34% of those three attempts (6) that would have been an additional 18 points. Also would have made TT defend a bit different as well because they would have respected the 3 shot.
JB recruits shooters and not one of them showed up. I haven't watched a tournament game since. THe season is over for me.
