Didn't know of the suspension but it doesn't surprise me. That entire game between Ottawa and NY was ugly. Not as bad as the Pitt./Phily. game (that was actually pretty cool to watch). However, most of the rough play was in the first period.

I think it's fair and do not believe that it was deliberate by Carl (of course I've never met Carl personally so who knows).
