Devin Gardner changing to #12

I heard about this before I read the link below and had some of the same thoughts and some different as the author. On the surface, to me, this could be a smack in the face to Shane. Is Devin trying to get in his head already or am I just looking at this the wrong way, but I mean a kid wears a number all of high school and into college. However, now he wants to change when one of the highest profile recruits in the past couple years is "supposed" to take his spot when the kid is still in high school, who happens to want the same number.

Maybe he just wanted it? Plus, although Henne last wore 7, I think a lot of older fans still associate the number with Leach.

Plus, Gardner and Morris could both wear 12 if they are both QBs since they won't be on the field at the same time.

Also, if Morris really idolizes Brady, maybe he should wear 10 in college.

How funny would it look both had #12 and both still played

I think that it's a little "gamesmanship" on the same team...
