Anybody else listen to the presser from yesterday?

There were SEVERAL times when Hoke would start to really give the team some credit, saying he was 'happy' with what he's seen, and I believe he dropped the word 'excited' at least a time or two.

Then, of course, he'd catch himself doing it and would try and backtrack a little bit.

I don't know if anyone else picked up on that.

But I can definitely say it has me feeling better going into week 1, whether I should be or not.

Yep! I noticed the same thing.

Typically he likes to hold his cards close to him, but like you said, there were a few blatant slips...

I also got the sense that we will be seeing DG a lot at WR. He seems very impressed with him playing the WR position.

It's good when the head coach is excited 10 days before the season starts!

It also sounds like Norfleet might be the returner... Seems like he has a No Fear mentality... Gotta love that!

Yep, he was the first one mentioned when the return game was brought up.

I think that will be this kid's niche his whole career. If he's good enough now, put 'em in, Coach.

I caught this as well. I believe the word pleased was used. I know he also was happy in the beginning of camp where they test play's conditioning. Good signs.
