David Dawson

I'm sure most everyone else knows of this but here are some updates on David Dawson

- He postponed his visit to O$U last weekend and was slated to visit on Jan 7th but it looks like an ACT conflict is pushing his official visit to Jan 18th now.

- Bama coaches had an in-home visit with him a little over a week ago and gave him a feel for the program, depth chart, etc. Bama is pushing hard for the #1 lineman Laremy Tunsil but is still offering Dawson and making a run at him as well. Apparently distance is no factor for Dawson but it sounds like his mother may see it other wise.

- Dawson took an official to Gainsville and Florida is out of the picture because, get this.... distance. WTF?

Top three, in no particular order are Michigan, Sparty and O$U. Going to be interesting to see if offering Finley helps sway Dawson back to UM.

I think he was going to be blue all along.

Signs are certainly pointing in the right direction. If they get him and Derrick Green, I won't have any complaints about this class. I'd also like them to get McQuay, but apparently we're getting some stiff competition from Vanderbilt, of all schools.

I will be super pissed if Meyer steals this kid.

aparently McQuay wants to be a music major and that is swaying him to Vanderbilt. Funny because I thought they were known for their journalism and engineering.

Vandy is a very good school. Their Football program is meh but the academics there rival that of Michigan. Plus, the weather in Tenessee is a bit nicer than Michigan. Southen sluts are also appealing...
