Has been terrible lately, if we boxed out and crashed the boards this game would not be close. Add the subpar defense and now it is close against a team that hasn't one a single big ten game.

I hate to say this, but I think McGary has been a problem on defense. He always seems to be out of position. He overhelps a lot and loses his man constantly, altough team rotation in general is really bad. I just don't think it's a coincidence that the defense has dropped off so much since Morgan's been hurt. There is definitely plenty of blame to go around on that end of the floor though.

Also, having to play Burke 39 minutes against a team that hasn't won this year is just so gross.

I wonder how a guy 6'4'' gets 3 rebounds down low and then gets hacked against a 6'9' and 2 6'6' guys box out somebody instead of tipping the ball all the time. Michigans inside game is and always will be PATHETIC,

yep it's kind of disheartening that we always seem to be out rebounded. The only thing that makes me not mind as much as I should is the point per trip average is the highest in the nation. The problem is that when you play a team that gets tough and locks down (Wiscy, the MSU game) it can and usually does get ugly real quick. This team is too good to be playing from 10 points down let alone 20+ points down.

I think McGary needs to get back in the gym and start practicing layups. I shouldn't be cringing every time he takes a shot inside 3 feet.

Looks like the APB on GR3 worked. Too bad he didn't show up at all in the last two games though. That Wiscy loss really hurts more and more as the games go by.

One thing I heard the announcer say today that really surprised me was that UM only went to the line a total of 8 times in the previous two games. Can't win in the B1G Ten and it's gonna be really hard to win in the tourney with numbers like that. We gotta get inside more but it goes back to what Artist just said, our inside game is a long ways off.

All that said, it sure was nice to put one in the W column again. Congrats today on playing tough to the end especially against a team that really was giving their best shot.
