| No problem at all.
I want what is best for Michigan and IDC who I have to cheer for for that to happen.

| Yeah, we are not sparty fans, an MSU loss helps UM. Sparty fans would rather see UM lose than see their own team succeed. | |

| Ok, so I am not following it closely enough.
Is a spartie loss the best thing for us in the league?
If it is I root for them to lose.

| I'm with all of you...since it isn't FOOTBALL. And even if it were, as you all rightly point out, an OSU win (a Sparty loss is a less-painful way to say it) helps us. As for rooting for OSU, I believe I've posted this Russian proverb before:
You can walk arm-in-arm with the devil till you get to the end of the bridge.

| Just looking at our schedule, and the schedule-makers really did MSU a favor with regards to us. First game came at the tail-end of our hardest stretch of the season and for game two, they get a week to prepare for us. Kind of irritating but we'll just have to deal with it.
And I don't have as much trouble rooting for OSU since they've already lost seven games and it helps us.

| Also, don't forget that the Michigan students will be on Spring Break...
Prepare for a large amount of drunk-sparty-idiots (redundant I know) in the Crisler Center.

If it is I root for them to lose. We want Indiana, Michigan St., and Wisconsin to lose out.

I can NEVER want an O$U win. I don't care what it means for the team. I will stick to cheering for UM to win every game so they don't have to get into a position in where they rely on another team to win or lose, especially if it's an O$U win that they need. I will NEVER cheer for them. Maybe if O$U played Al Qaeda's squad I could cheer for them but it would probably depend on how I'm feeling that day so I'd have to wait and see for that too.
