I watched every game he played last year and I can't imagine him being drafted even at the end of the second round. He had one strength: spot up shooting when left alone (and then only at home). How often is anyone left alone to spot up shoot in the NBA? Plus he doesn't have a particularly quick release.
To his credit, his defense improved from dreadful to somewhat decent, but still can't be considered a strength. But he showed no ability to create his own shot or to hit 3's off the dribble (except on a fast break), and no ability to take it to the rim. He ineligible to improve for sure, but there are no guarantees. If he comes back great, if he doesn't then I won't be as depressed as losing Trey, or Nick, or Franz.
