| I wasn't at that game. I missed it due to my high school football schedule.
Played Friday night, had film study early Saturday mornings.
I got home and caught the last 3.5 quarters of that one. My mom and dad, however, we're at the game. I remember them saying how hot it was that day.
Anyone in here at that game? Do you remember it being as hot as they recalled iit was?

| I was not. We used to camp every Labor Day weekend. We had a small pop up camper at that time. I knew it was an ABC game, so I was able to watch it on a 13 inch color tv with rabbit ears at the camp site. That game was filled with so many highs and lows. Washington getting an illegal substitution penelty on defense really helped set up that final kick. Good times. I'm glad to see your link give credit to WolverineHistorian for the video.
Why doesn't Hoke do a weekly show, or does he?

Why doesn't Hoke do a weekly show, or does he? He does, it's just not "Michigan Replay" anymore. It's "Inside Michigan Football". Brandyman is still the host. Runs weekly on FoxSports Detroit on Tuesdays, I believe. The BTN used to syndicate those shows as well, but they cut that off. Once they stopped, I was no longer to watch it on TV. Anymore, I go to mgovideo.com to watch them. They're usually up the following day.

| Thanks, that's good info. I didn't know that. I knew RR changed the name, and I used to watch it on BTN, but didn't know it was still on FSD.
Do they still have the porn music?

| haha OF COURSE THEY DO!!!!
Yeah, the name changed back in RR's days.
I don't think that was his call, but there were a lot of issues in regards to Michigan Replay. John Bacon actually discusses it quite a bit in Three & Out.
Basically, the biggest problem was that they recorded the shows THE DAY OF THE GAME. Even further, they were recorded over in Detroit.
So after a long gameday, Brandy and Lloyd would have to drive over to Detroit to the studio to record, that way it could air Sunday morning.
This wasn't just for home games....road games too. So sometimes they wouldn't get into the studio in Detroit to record until well after midnight. And if it was a night game on the road, essentially Carr didn't sleep on Saturday night.
When they renovated the stadium, they wanted to ensure that going forward they would be able to record right there. And now that it isn't broadcasted until Tuesday (Again, I think that's when), they actually don't film it until Sundays...which is much easier on Hoke and Brandy.

That would explain why Lloyd and Brandy always looked like they were uncomfortable and sweaty.
