| I thought he would go on to have a productive long pro career. Never happened. I just did a Google search of him and saw that he last signed with the Hamilton Tiger Cats back in 2012 but was released a month later. | |

| That's a shame.
The problem with him I think was he was always a 'tweener.
Should he be a LB? Should he play at DE?
He never found a niche. _________________ "I don't get sick. I don't observe major holidays. I'm a jackhammer." - Jim Harbaugh & Dwight Schrute

He never found a niche. Admin, a LOT of people have said that about Shawn---and others as well, but he comes to mind. Not quite big and/or strong enough for the D-line, not quite fast or quick enough for LB. That is an unfortunate "mix". Pertains to lots of basketball players, too. Danny Ferry comes to mind; may never have been bonafide NBA material, but everyone quickly pinpointed his problem as being too small and weak for power forward, too slow for small forward. APples and oranges, to be sure, but I think you get my drift... | |
