Game Day Parking

Recently I received a request from the Athletic Department for renewal of football seasonal parking passes. The email listed several U controlled lots designated by various colors (blue, yellow, brown, gray, etc.). In previous years I was bumped from blue to purple, in the Pioneer HS area. Last year I dropped the purple pass and decided to park at the Ann Arbor Golf and Outing Course. I notice, however, that the purple lot is no longer available through the Athletic Department. Does anyone know the details of why this developed this way? Probably some sort of Brandonomics in action.

By the way, parking and tailgating at the AAGO is excellent! Much better that the purple lot was.
