Welcome big fella! According to Sam Webb, this is not the surprise commit, so we're waiting for another! _________________ "I'm 205 pounds of twisted, hardened, blue steel." Bo

| You beat me to it!!!!!
FUCK YEAH!!!!!
#60 player in the country for '13 is what I read on Twitter.
Shane just tweeted "I'll never be touched for four years with the line we're gonna have" - something to the effect, not an exact quote.
Tremendous said by this time next week, we could have 7 commits.

| IMO this is the pick up of the day so far. (Nights still young) This kid had offers from the likes of Bama. He is also a Illinois kid which is supposed to be loaded with linemen talent this year. Hopefully this commitment will open the doors for others to follow him to AA. Great pick up! | |

| I like the fact that his hometown is Wheaton, as well. In general, that is a veryyyy religious community. Not that I care if he is religious, but I just kinda assume that coming from a community like that Kyle will have a solid head on his shoulders. Or maybe there's no correlation at all. Who really knows? Either way, I like it. _________________ "I don't get sick. I don't observe major holidays. I'm a jackhammer." - Jim Harbaugh & Dwight Schrute

That isn't always good. My reasoning, look at the Amish. When kids become teenagers they go wild (known as Rumspringa). A couple years ago I met this guy who was from Western Pa. and he told me story after story about young Amish girls that he "had fun with" during Rumspringa. http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-rumspringa.htm _________________ 'eggo denoted me a First ballot Hall of Famer! - sandyeggo_blue wrote:

Actually I grew up not too far from an Amish community...met several kids in high school from other local schools that were Amish and had been taken in by people like "us". You're right about one thing....they did party like a son of a bitch. It was always fun. Most of them were in Middlebury, IN, and the people who took them in always seemed to have a pull barn. We'd have huge parties in those things. Reading that it seems so redneck, but it wasn't. In HS, when having a party, there may not be a better way to keep it hidden from Johnny Law than using a big ass pull barn 100 yards off the street! _________________ "I don't get sick. I've been to Middlebury. In high school I lived just north across the state line. That whole Shipshewana area was kind of cool. I never really met any of the Amish though. Back on topic though... college kids will be college kids. That said, I think that the people he surrounds himself with in college will be equally as important in keeping him from going buck wild with his new found freedom. From what I can tell Hoke and the staff are recruiting level headed kids and since his teammates are the people he's most likely going to be around it will help to curb any thoughts he may have of doing something truly stupid. _________________ Sometimes people standing on third base think they hit a triple, but they didn't - Jim Harbaugh
