| That was as embarrassing a display as I have seen in 40 years.... there have been bad losses but I saw no emotion out on the field... no sense of urgency, certainly from the coaches, I understand Nuss having to be in control because he can't lose Gardner so early in the season.... but what I see from Hoke and Mattison is unacceptable.... get in the players faces.... there is no fear factor.... make a mistake. and all you fear is that the HC will be clapping his hands | |

| This is the end for Hoke. _________________ “And I remember across those years Two banners that crowned the crest, When Yale was king of the conquered East, And Michigan ruled the West.”

| We are now 6-9 on the road during his tenure and the trend line is down. | |

| ND first to shut out Michigan since 1984. Wow, makes you feel good considering ND wasn't playing with all their 1st string players. Way to go, Hoke. | |

| If there are 85,000 to 90,000 fans in stands next weekend vs Miami, that might be on high side BTW, does that bother DB? or as long as there is money being made, does he really care?
BoLeach7, good point about if there is a fear factor. Do the players fear, a little scared of BH. If players know there are no consequences for mistakes, whether in practice or game, players keep making same mistake.
At our HS game tonight, 3:45 left, we lead 17-10, 1st & 10 from own 8, clock on our side. Our RB takes off for a 25yd gain but runs out of bounds, on our sideline. Instead of coach saying good run, he gets in kids face telling him you can't run out of bounds!!! 2 plays later kid learned quick, stayed inbounds this time. I'm 99% sure in future games in same situation our RBs, WRs will know to stay in bounds. Our coach, the kids like & respect but also have a little fear, a little scared of him. He holds every kid accountable. Don't know if that's a good example or not. But if the M team doesn't have any fear of Hoke, don't have discipline, you won't win on a regular basis.
GO BLUE!!! | |

| Booboo great points.... from what I saw and have read the players feared and even hated at times BO... but they would run through a wall for him and do it as taught because they new he had their back and was there to make sure they were held accountable.... not seeing that at all with Brady | |
