| Crazy to think he was never given meaningful playing time here. Between that and Rawls slicing and dicing it this year at CMU, I think this staff is poor at recognizing RB talent.

| Fred Jackson has been the RB coach for the past 20 years. It's been a long time since a Michigan RB has developed under him. I guess he was a great recruiter at one point. Either way, I strongly suspect this is his last year. | |

| Rawls was a sketchy kid...still his. Sat out a game or two this season for CMU for off-field issues.
Kid can tote the rock though.

i think I recall one of our former RB recruits saying something along these lines. He thought fred wasn't going to be around long enough to commit to UM. I can't remember who said it though.
