OT: Michigan Hockey

Subject: OT: Michigan Hockey Sat Jan 10, 2015 5:43 pm

Early game today against Minnesota. Minny jumped out to a 1-0 lead but then Michigan scored 4 straight goals and after 1 period it is 4-1 Michigan. Game is on FSD. This Michigan team is really gelling now...

3rd period was a little slower scoring wise. Michigan beat Minny 7-5. Coach Berenson gets his 800th career win. Only the 4th person ever to reach that milestone, and Coach Bereson didn't starting coaching college hockey until he was 40. The other guys with 800+ victories started coaching college in their 20's.

Truly amazing, the guy is 75 and still produces great teams.

Minn got a UM beat down this weekend in two sports.

and our wrestling team was one point away from upsetting #1 Minny at their place. our #8 ranked 133lbs Rossi Bruno almost upset their #1 ranked Dardanes.

Mich actually had the lead going into the last match and it came down to a takedown in the final 20 seconds.
