i think rudock will do a good job of getting the the team into the right play play at the line of scrimmage. He is pretty bright. Some times he was pretty effective. Personally, i dont think he had the warrior, fearless leader intangibles that some QBs have. My biggest beef with him is that he often threw the ball late, with a slow release.And his arm strength is average to below.

Iowa fans screamed that his backup was simply more gifted, and they wanted to se him play instead.

Jake was also prone to check down too quicky. He did not let the receiver make a play on the ball. So he played it safe. Ferentz liks that.

If Rudock is the second coming of Griese and Krenzel I will take that right now ... Steady and no stupid turnovers ..... Mind you the defense has to rise to the occasion as well

Regardless if it is Rudock or Morris; based on what you have seen and/or heard,who do you see as number 3 at QB?

IMO - I say Speight with Malzone close.

#3 is Malzone easy. Fourth is a tie between Speight, Cleary, Gentry, Moores and Thompson. There is rumor that Speight is considering transferring because he wants to play.

Well, according to reports, Speight was the third QB to play in Saturday nights game in front of the students. I would ASSUME that means he's in 3rd??? Maybe not, who knows.

I have heard Gentry may be more talented than any of them. I guess he has good speed. That added dynamic may move him up the depth chart.
