Are you a member of the U of M Club of Wash D.C. or the Baltimore Spirit Group?

Nope, neither. I live too far (thank heaven) from Washington, and am still a good 20 miles from Baltimore.

Not that 20 miles is in any way insurmountable, were the Baltimore U-M-alum affiliate an interesting conglom...

Why?

The Greater Wash DC Club is much more successful. However, the Baltimore group is really rampning things up.

What I would really dig is any sort of U-M club in ANNAPOLIS. Assuming the Naval Academy would leave room for one...

If Maryland has any pride, that city would be it. When it comes to state capitals, I've seen first-hand what (disappointingly) ramshackle DUMPS Albany, Hartford, (more recently) Harrisburg, and of course Columbus are.
(Fortunately I've never been to or even through East Lansing). Even Augusta, ME, while not "ramshackle", was sort of tacky and "blah"...I thought.

Annapolis on the other hand is quaint, relatively safe, has tons of character, and a very nice
waterfront. Of course, the USNA has everything to do with that, I'm sure.
