Immediate eligibility is not a certainty but the non-senior Ole Miss players are essentially stating that they were misled by Hugh freeze during their recruitment and that may allow them to become immediately eligible.
Remember that during the ncaa's punishment they said that all senior players would be eligible immediately if they decided to transfer and would not have to sit out a year however, that was not the case with the underclassmen.
The underclassmen that transfer will petition the NCAA saying that freeze misled them in the recruitment by telling them that all of the infractions were committed by Houston Nutt and that the program would be given a light punishment if any. Ole miss' own findings during their investigation state the contrary and that looks good for the underclassmen that will request a transfer.
Hopefully any transfers Michigan gets from Ole Miss will be eligible right away.
