| If that Avznxjdnsu kid was denied a visit, that can only mean good things.
I just wish we knew who it was already.

| Speculation that Gedeon is a silent commit is rampant on the Scout free board. If true, that could mean they are holding the last spot for Levenberry and telling Androclus (or whoever) not to bother, and letting O'Daniel dangle for a while. _________________ "I'm 205 pounds of twisted, hardened, blue steel." | Yes. The 2 posters before me were struggling with his name so I posted it. _________________ "What the HELL's going on out here?"

| Ha! "Feeling good about the LBs", Admin??? With our haul in this (or these last 2) class(es), that's a little like saying, "I'm feeling good about my future" after seeing that you correctly picked all the Powerball numbers!! | |

Haha. Speaking of Powerball.... A buddy of mine, who lives in the 'burbs of Chicago, was at the gas station last Thursday afternoon. He stopped to buy a $20 scratch-off. In front of him was an 'older' gentleman, late 30's - early 40's, who was also buying a scratch-off. He bought the $10. As my friend began paying for his ticket, he heard screaming outside of the store. LOUD screaming. So he hurried outside to see what all the noise was about. It was the guy who bought the $10....he had just scratched off $1,000,000. Not too shabby. A cool $490,000 in that guy's pocket after taxes. _________________ "I don't get sick. | Well, I hold a U-M degree in MATH, Admin...which is why I'll never be the guy with the cool million.
NOR will I ever be any of the other 9,999,999 people (lumping him and them into every 10 million) who angrily throw their worthless ticket into the shitcan and drive away with one less ten- or twenty-dollar bill in their wallet.
Crap, it's Friday, and no time for me to be playing Grumpy the Dwarf. But I must say I get more than a few chuckles when I see a big billbboard advertising "Today's Powerball Jackpot: 491 million!" And in smaller print at the bottom of the posting, "Problem Gambling Hotline: 1-800-DUMBASS". (or some such number). | |
