Thinking that job is not perceived to be as attractive to coaches as some Sparty fans thought it would be.

Agree with you both...particularly Woody's last sentence.
When you think about it, MSU (taking into account scenarios spanning the entire Athletic Dept. spectrum) could (not WILL, but COULD) end up in as destructive a situation as did PSU in 2011...

Talking to a Sparty friend before Tucker took the job, and he said why would you come to a school where you are the 4th best team in the division.

Think hiring Tucker as a good "save" for them. He should recruit fairly well in MI and Ohio which is what MSU has relied on.
