Probably 1001 different combinations right now of who could play who in 1st round. 4 teams with 5-10 records, depending what IU does tonight they could join the 5-10 group. Nebraska could jump to 4th or fall to 7th.
Knock on wood, M wins regular season title. I guess playing IU, a 8th seed, could give M trouble, PSU looked good in beating OSU tonight, they could be pain in the ass.
Semi-final match-up? OSU, Iowa or even Nebraska. Right now if both win, have a sparty-Wisc. semi match-up.
M vs MSU or Wisconsin in final. If M survived that gauntlet & wins title, a #1 seed possible? or no worse a 2 seed. I know, I know I'm looking way to far ahead.
Back to MgoBlues post, yea I agree 5 or 6 teams are capable of winning. M, Wisc., MSU, OSU, Iowa see as top 5.
Nebraska had won 7 of 8 until losing Illini last night. Could they get hot, who knows, but they need to win B1G tourney to get to march madness, could make them a dangerous team.
Minn., don't see them winning B1G tourney, they've had some nice wins at home vs OSU, Iowa, Wisc., & IU, but seem to struggle on road. Like to see how they play in AA this sat. night. Also like to see M come out strong.
Indiana, nothing on their resume says they're a threat, but Tom Crean's a good coach, kind of home state advantage. Right now they are up on Iowa w/ 3:33 mins left. IU could be the team that pulls off some upsets.
GO BLUE!!!!
