| these are the most cordial, well spoken comments I've ever read about MICHIGAN on elevenwarriors. I think the o$u fans have conceded that if Walker takes an unofficial this weekend to AA, which is being reported and the bucknut fans are saying is true, then kareem is set for a flip.
https://www.elevenwarriors.com/ohio-state-football-recruiting/2015/10/61363/kareem-walker-updates-recruitment-after-michigan-visit-via-official-release
I typically go to other team sites to read meltdown posts but there was nothing of the sort on this article. can't wait to see how this is going to play out.

| What concerns me a little is having to tell lower-rated guys that have been committed for a while that their offer has been rescinded. | |

won't happen. they have room for 26 or 27. they have 22 on board right now. attrition and 5th years not getting automatic scholarships will put UM where they need to be. no grey shirting either. UM looks fine at this point. I will work on updating the 2016 recruiting thread this week.

| But isn't there a limit that can be signed per year regardless of attrition? I know 85 is the total cap but isn't there a yearly cap as well? | |

I've never heard of anything like that. south carolina signed 31 kids last year. 30+ kid classes are not uncommon in the SEC

| ok well there were 5 B1G teams with at least 25 last year. nebraska led the way with 29.
in 2014 there were 7 teams with 25+ and o$u and indiana both had 31 and rutgers had 32.
bottom line, there is no yearly cap. as long as you can find space (attrition, 5th years, graduates, etc) then you can sign as many as you want.
the SEC has been notorious for "moving" guys out but it happens everywhere.

| mgoblog just posted tweet that says that Kareem Walker is being given 24hrs to cancel his other visits or his spot in the class is being taken.
Also being reported by Sam Webb that a major turning point in Kareem Walker's recruitment could be on horizon.
Found another post that a connection to o$u is saying he is 99.9999% sure Walker ends up wearing maize and blue.
I'll try to dig up more. | |

| also now that it's not just $ info, I can say that my post about having a hunch that Ahmir Mitchell was getting in his ear during the NW game is completely true. Also Ron Johnson and Brad Hawkins were there talking to him. The New Jersey boys are really trying to pull him in.
one last thing, coach Wheatly flew out to see him play Friday night before the game. There definitely seems to be mutual interest.

| I want to start by reminding everyone just how crazy the recruiting process has become over the last week. there have be a TON of moves that have sent ripples through recruiting. So this will be my most fluid list to date.
Here is my UPDATED recruit list
5* DT Rashan Gary 6-4 290lbs Paramus Catholic (Paramus, NJ) 4* SDE Ron Johnson 6-4 240lbs Camden (Camden, NJ) - Committed 4* WDE Connor Murphy 6-7 250lbs Brophy College Preparatory (Phoenix, AZ) 4* WDE/BUCK Carlo Kemp 6-3 255lbs Fairview (Boulder, CO) 2* SDE Rashad Weaver 6-5 245lbs Cooper City (Fort Lauderdale, FL) - Committed
3* ILB David Reese 6-1 235lbs Farmington (Farmington, MI) - Committed 3* ILB Dytarious Johnson 6-1 205lbs Prattville (Prattville, AL) - Committed 3* OLB Jonathan Jones 6-1 220lbs Oak Ridge (Orlando, FL)
5* OT Ben Bredeson 6-5 293lbs Arrowhead (Hartland, WI) - Committed 4* OT Erik Swenson 6-7 285lbs Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL) - Committed 4* OG Michael Onwenu 6-3 365lbs Cass Technical (Detroit, MI) - Committed 4* OT Devery Hamilton 6-6 290lbs Gilman (Baltimore, MD) - Committed
4* WR Dylan Crawford 6-1 175lbs Santa Margarita Catholic (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) 4* ATH Ahmir Mitchell 6-3 206lbs Cedar Creek (Egg Harbor City, NJ) - Committed 4* WR Brad Hawkins 6-1 202lbs Camden (Camden, NJ) - Committed 4* APB Chris Evans 5-11 186lbs Ben Davis (Indianapolis, IN) - Committed 3* TE Sean McKeon 6-5 230lbs Shepherd Hill (Dudley, MA) - Committed
4* PRO Brandon Peters 6-5 205lbs Avon (Avon, IN) - Committed 3* ATH Victor Viramontes 6-2 22lbs Norco (Norco, CA) - Committed
4* CB Lavert Hill 5-10 166lbs King (Detroit, MI) 3* CB Sir Patrick Scott 6-1 175lbs Riverdale Baptist School (Upper Marlboro, MD) - Committed 3* CB Antwaine Richardson 6-0 165lbs Atlantic (Delray Beach, FL) - Committed 3* S Devin Gil 6-1 205lbs Charles W Flanagan (Hollywood, FL) - Committed 2* S Josh Metellus 6-0 187lbs Charles W Flanagan (Hollywood, FL) - Committed
5* RB Kareem Walker 6-1 190lbs De Paul Catholic (Wayne, NJ) 3* RB Kiante Enis 6-1 200lbs Winchester Community Sch (Winchester, IN) - Committed 3* RB Matthew Falcon 6-1 215lbs Southfield (Southfield, MI) - Committed 3* FB Kingston Davis 6-1 225lbs Prattville (Prattville, AL) - Committed
3* K Quinn Nordin 6-1 200lbs Rockford (Rockford, MI)
1) Gary is on the board and MICHIGAN is looking as good as the have for him in a long while. Still a long ways to go.
2) The Khalid Kareem decommit from bama and scheduled visit to ND this weekend could push Carlo Kemp our way. Kemp is coming off of back-to-back visits to MICHIGAN and ND and is reportedly torn between UM and ND.
3) I don't know whether to add Nauta or Mathis to board at TE so I'm not going to add either. My gut says UM has too much ground to make up on Gerorgia for Nauta and I get the feeling that Mathis wants to stay home and play at Florida. I think both are crazy to pass up an opportunity to play TE under JH.
4) I'm keeping Connor Murphy on the list but Terrel Lucas is visiting this week. I really don't know who they prefer. Family ties to Harbaugh keeps Murphy on my board at this point.
5) David Long visits this weekend and this could be the tipping point for him. I'm not sure how a Hill commit would effect his decision. I'm keeping him off the board at this point.
6) BIG news with Kareem Walker. A decommit from o$u seems to be a lock. UM is in the driver's seat but bama and ole miss are lurking in the background so it is not a done deal that he ends up at MICHIGAN but many insiders believe he will be in AA next year. Walker has been added to the board.
7) I took 4* King WR Donnie Corley off the board and replaced him with 4* Cali WR Dylan Crawford. He is trending really well for UM right now. He is visiting this weekend. Not sure on the chances to see a commit from him this weekend but MICHIGAN could really lock things up with him with a good visit.
8 ) Lavert Hill seems to be a lock to flip from PSU to UM. He will be visiting MICHIGAN in back-to-back weekends this week.
9) I still don't know how Harbaugh is recruiting the last OL spot. A lot of kids at other positions are on the board right now and giving UM serious looks. I don't know how the numbers look for the staff or if they are happy/content with the four OL recruits they have. So at this point I'm taking Terrance Davis off of the board.
10) As stated in a previous post, it looks like UM is trying to flip Quinn Nordin from PSU and it looks like it's just a matter of time. He is also going to be on a back-to-back visit this weekend.
That makes 29 recruits on my board and yet 28 is the max I believe UM would take this year. Keep in mind I took current commit Dele Harding off the board last time and St Juste has reclassified to 2017.

| Thanks for the mega update. That list looks amazing. Getting Gary and Walker would be huge.
The staff is making Jourdan Lewis look like an All-American. Imagine what they could do for those two kids.

i took him off about a month ago because there were rumors (and they still persist) that he and MICHIGAN have both backed off of each other. at one point he had erased almost everything MICHIGAN from his social media and he has been actively visiting other schools. I don't know enough at this point to know where he really stands but I was reading between the lines back when I did take him off of the boards. I could be way off on this one but where there's smoke....

| David Reese got a texas offer today and apparently they have a spot for him to be an EE. he wants to do that at UM but has been told he can't. speculation that if Texas lets him, Reese will flip to Texas. antonio williams decommmited from Wisconsin today and has scheduled a visit to o$u this weekend. 4* RB Gerorge Hill decommitted from o$u today. Check out this edit for Walker that Ahmir Mitchell tweeted out.... by the way Walker wears #6 | |

well being that everyone seems to be a take no matter the numbers, and being that it's changing everyday. the list today would be these guys: rashan gary kareem walker (new development. wouldn't have been on the list last week) dylan crawford lavert hill quinn nordin carlo kemp pie young others to consider: jonathan jones david long jacob mathis connor murphy terrel lucas terrance davis of course nauta is a take no matter what but i still think he ends up at georgia. I could be singing a different tune on monday if MICHIGAN knocks his visit out of the park this weekend.

Michigan has no interest? what I've been reading the last couple of days is that MICHIGAN will pass on him. Both he and Khalid Kareem may end up at ND.

| kareem walker says in an interview that he's 100% to o$u but none of the analysts are buying it, even the o$u analyst that got the interview and is reporting it. they all believe he is playing the recruiting game. we'll find out more after antonio williams commits to o$u this weekend. | |

| MICHIGAN killed it with 4* ATH Lamar Jackson. He says MICHIGAN definitely leads. Steve L thinks that MICHIGAN is sitting solid with him. this we a bit of a surprise so I'll put him on my watch list. I might have to put him on my next board revision.
No new updates on Nauta. he's playing the recruiting game well, saying all of the right things after his visit. I think MICHIGAN stills sits solid at #2 but he has visits to TCU, bama and ole miss coming up.

It's the same thing that happened to Pip. This would make room for Kareem.
With the recent flip of Antonio Williams to o$u, I think Wisconsin starts to recruit Falcon hard. I can see him ending up there.
