Sounds like Michigan didn't defend the 3 well

Either O$U was hot from the outside or Michigan didn't play very good defense. on the other hand sounds like Livers had an extremely bad game. Either way another game Michigan lost.

We were terrible defending the 3s.

Plus they banked 2 of them.

Started out not defending the 3 well, then got out on shooters and they still hit them. We've now lost 13 of the last 14 in Columbus in basketball and in many of those games, had what proved over the course of the season, the better team.

Michigan was in the game until the early part of the second half, when the bubble burst. Livers, Tetzke, and Brooks were shooting at awful! What has happened to Tetzke this season? Poor shooting and foul trouble have plagued him all year. They better get their act together before the B1G tournament. They play at Maryland next weekend (after Nebraska Thursday). Possibly a miracle could happen and they can win two, but one is a distinct possibility.

Well I'll tell you guys. We are not a really really good team. We might be pretty good but......

We might win a couple in the B1G tourney. We might not. I'm not really sure it would make a difference in our NCAA tourney seed. We're not going to go very far.

I gotta tell you though, if this is what fans consider a "bad" year then I look forward to the future. I remember Amaker's bad teams. And Ellerby's bad teams. I'll take this year's team over those.

I predict we'll be somewhere between a first round exit and the final four. I'm only slightly kidding. There is a very narrow margin between the top teams and say the 20th thru 40th best teams. This is completely unlike college football where very few teams even top 10 teams could hope to compete with Clemson, OSU, Alabama.

We lost our margin to compete with the best when Livers missed 10 plus games. Even now he looks a step slow. At full strength we can beat Gonzaga handily and Creighton. We can also lose to lowly Nebraska at home (Thur is not a given win).

Yeah shoes, we can beat anyone. And lose to anyone.

That's not a great situation.

If we make 3's. If FT shooting improves by 5%. We are as good as anyone. But........

We haven't made 3's since November. A full year of statistics says we won't raise out FT% 5%.

Ughhh, I hate being negative. I'm just not positive about this group. Love 'em to death but .......
