Michigan has less than 7 scholarship players available which is the league threshold.

So the real reason for my post is that Michigan was actually a 1-1/2 point FAVORITE in this game! A favorite. Let that sink in.

I totally understand how a betting line is set and how and why it fluctuates but this has me baffled.

to much money was bet on MSU, so they needed to back off the bets
