Yea but he "stole" a lap-top.  Everyone is allowed to make a mistake (unless life is lost, etc.) so I of course feel that Clark has paid the piper (Coach Hoke) and I like having him play, and play well for Michigan.  Still, stealing a lap-top out of a classmates' dorm isn't the Michigan way.  When a hockey player (Kevin Quick) stole Carl Hagelin's (another hockey player) credit card he was booted off the team immediately.

For what it's worth, I heard a story that Thomas Rawls goes to frat parties with a backpack and takes people's stuff. The frats don't want to turn him in because turning in a football player would make them a "not cool" frat, and plus having football players at your frat parties brings the women. It has just become accepted that if Rawls shows up at your frat party, you let him take some XBOX games, DVDs, etc.

I haven't heard that but I do not know anyone really connected to the current team like you did.  Unfortunately that does sound plausible, but then again it may not be true.  Basically I'm not questioning it nor confirming.

Kinda sounds "similar" to a Webber ideology on Rawl's behalf (even though Rawls is no where near the comparitive talent as Webber).

I hope not because letting him get away with that isn't doing him any favors long term.

I agree totally 'shoes but high-profile athletes (of which Clark only is on campus) can get away with murder (i.e. OJ Simpson).  No one said it was a good thing, just that it is what it is.  Frat boys at UM can afford it anyway (still doesn't make it right).

This is the first I've heard of Mr. Rawl's alleged (note emphasis) sordid habit...but if true, it had better---for any number of reasons---cease pretty god-damned fast.

If indeed true, I doubt coach Hoke knows of it. Or we all would---officially---as well.  (It was noted earlier in the thread that
the brothers of that frat refused to report it).
