| Michigan is going to land a player on the 1st team All-Conference team and it isn't going to be either of the two guys that held a press conference last year. | |

| If Mitch stays healthy he'll make it. By the way that rim seems ridiculously tight tonight. You can tell by how it sounds.

| Thank god we have him or this would be ugly. Another close game against a scrub team. _________________ “And I remember across those years Two banners that crowned the crest, When Yale was king of the conquered East, And Michigan ruled the West.”

| rasputin, I realize you are a troll and you only come around when something bad is happening, but:
-Caris LeVert picked up his 2nd foul at 18:12 and sat out the rest of the half . -GRIII was fouled hard at 17:35 and played less than 10 minutes that half because of it. -At the half, Nik Stauskas is 5 for 10 from the field while the rest of the team is 3 of 24.
Michigan should be getting blown out.

| But since you seem to be so down on our basketball team, how about a prediction. What place do you think Michigan finishes in the conference? _________________ | |

'shoes I don't think so. Michigan isn't landing two guys on the 1st team this year and I don't see anyone having a better year than Stauskas. I think Tim Frazier, Aaron Craft, and Gary Harris are virtual locks for 1st team All Big Ten. The final two spots will go to two of: Yogi Ferrell Adreian Payne Andre Hollins One of Michigan's players.

| Stauskas is tough, I really like the improvement he has shown driving to the hoop. Makes him tough to defend. | |

| I can understand an off shooting night, but defensive fuckups are amazing why would you not presure a team with under10 to go and eat clock. Drives right in to get a Layup McGary picks up nobody. WTF they deserve to lose played like shit looked like shit . I don't give a fuck what hail says. this was a bad loss. _________________ "HAIL HAIL MICHIGAN" Wanted John Harbaugh but I'll settle for JIM WITH AN ENTHUSIASM UNKNOWN TO MANKIND GOOO BLUE The Curse of Rich Rod

At some point, a small sample size becomes a trend. At some point, a trend becomes the norm. This is more crediting Stauskas than it is knocking MM and GRIII. _________________

It was most definitely a bad loss. Michigan is not good enough to lose starters for extended minutes and still win basketball games. LeVert sat out 18 of the 20 minutes in the 1st half due to foul trouble.. GRIII sat out 18 of the 20 minutes in the 2nd half due to injury. GRIII played less than 15 minutes tonight. The one position Michigan has absolutely no depth at is the "4". Max Bielfeldt is garbage. When GRIII couldn't play, we had to resort to a 4 guard offense and that killed us defensively. If GRIII isn't ready by Duke, the Blue Devils might score 120.

| Officially,
GRIII played 9 minutes due to injury. He averages 35 minutes per game. LeVert played 22 minutes due to foul trouble. He averages 35 minutes per game.
These aren't excuses, rather just part of the answer to "how the heck....?". _________________

| Holy cow, Irvin was bad in that game, believe he was 1 for 12 at one point, I think little dog would have done a little better than that. One thing I'll say for Irvin, he's not afraid to shoot. | |

| They all were bad in the game. You can't just point at one person. Their FG shooting is concerning. | |

| The offense runs a lot better with Spike in the lineup. Walton is talented, but doesn't command the offense like Spike does. More passing and people getting open. With Walton on the floor it is dribble, dribble, pass shoot. | |

| The shooting was off, but they were getting the shots. The offense is well-designed but is of no use if the ball won't go in the hole. Many of the misses were just off, fwiw. I like this team a lot. Walton will get better because he is well-coached by a capable assistant. | |

I love what Spike brings but he IS a defensive liability. They went to his man on two straight possessions last night and his guy shot right over him from about 16-17 feet. This team, if it stays healthy (or gets healthy depending upon how serious the issues are with Robinson and Nik) will be fine. It is going to take a while to jell in the post Trey era but I have no doubt we will. 'shoes
