wshoes has got to be related to RichRod. I've never seen any Michigan fan so religiously devoted to supporting RichRod. It's almost cult-like.

You could say I am devoted to fairness. I have criticized him plenty for his shortcomings, but if there is a cult involved here it's those who continue to bash him unfairly and use him as a continuing excuse for others' failings.

It was a shameful time period for many Michigan fans and insiders. I liked RR as a football coach much better than I liked George W. Bush as a President but like the fact that many continue to blame Bush for anything and everything (both fair and unfair) so too they never miss a chance to get a "dig" in at RR.

wshoes, but it's gotten to the point that anytime anyone says something negative about RichRod you try to discredit the post. It's comical.

RichRod is a genius when it comes to offense, his total lack of defense is the only reason I gave up on him. The Illinois game was the last straw.
