#2 should be retired also, but when CW is done with his playing days. | |

| I do not like retiring college jerseys- any of them.
First there aren't enough numbers to go around (contrasted with the NFL) and we have a bunch of duplicates as it is. Second I like the memories served by seeing numbers on the field and whether a guy will or will not measure up to predecessors. Third- why eliminate a possible recruiting advantage?
I do not like the "earning a number" BS. Guys should stick with the number they come in with. | |
